Jerrold R. Shockey, 70, of Springfield, IL passed away at his home on Thursday May 19, 2022.

Jerrold was born in Springfield on June 4, 1951 and was the son of Rudolph and Alice (Osborne) Shockey. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Jan Shirley.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Ames) Shockey; 3 daughters; 1 son; 2 stepsons, Mike Higgerson (wife, Julie) and Larry Carter (wife, Kelley); 11 grandchildren; 4 nephews; 1 sister, Sue Fierce (husband, Mori); and 1 brother, Rodney Shockey.

Cremation services are being accorded and no services are being planned at this time.
