Jennie "Fran" Frances Courtwright, 80, of Riverton, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.

Fran was born on July 12, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Matthew and Dora Thornley Shidlauski.  She married James Wiley Courtwright on August 12, 1960 in Springfield; he preceded her in death on August 24, 2012.

She was a graduate of Lanphier High School and worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company.  She volunteered at Hope Thrift Center and was a member of Calvary Temple Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Matthew Shidlauski, Jr.; and sister, Julie Durheim.

She is survived by daughter, Tracy A. (Lyle) Hickman of Riverton; son, James B. (Tajah) Courtwright of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Kyle (Kate), Cody (Ellyn) and Cade Hickman of Riverton; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorene Wright of Sherman and Jacky Glassi of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family services were held.
