Jeff D. Waldmire, 65, of Springfield, Passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St John's Hospital.

Jeff was born on November 27, 1952, the son of Edwin and Virginia (Turnbull) Waldmire.  He married Carol Morris on May 18, 1979 in Springfield.

Jeff was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, World Ministry Fellowship, Associate Pastor at Third Day Church in Jacksonville and is currently attending Living Water Church in Springfield. He also enjoyed studying the Bible, going to garage sales, music and dogs. Jeff was a man that led by example.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Bob; and two nephews Billy and Tony Waldmire.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; stepson, Brian Morris; three brothers, Buz, Bill (Arlene), and Tom (Debbie); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Living Water Church in Springfield with Reverend Bob Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
