Jean L. Ryan-Stine, 70, of Springfield, IL passed away on Friday June 18, 2021 at St. John's Hospital in the company of her family.

Jean was born in Litchfield, on September 2, 1950 the daughter of Woodbur D. and Thelma I. (Fenton) Ryan.

In 1994, Jean married Ronald Stine. She worked for 38 years at St. John's Hospital as a unit clerk before retiring and was a member of East Keys Baptist Church.

Jean enjoyed going out to eat at all of her favorite restaurants. She also enjoyed doing crafts and creating flower baskets. Jean loved John Wayne, Elvis Presley and the movie, "Gone with the Wind".

Jean enjoyed Daisy's and animals, especially cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Gina Mohn.

Jean is survived by her husband, Ronald of Springfield; sisters, Wanda Ryan of Springfield, Vicki Bergner (Danny) of Springfield, Pam Kemp (Vince) of Virden; brother, Jim Ryan of Springfield; a couple of step children; several step grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 24, 2021 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery will follow.
