Janet A. Edwards, 83, of Springfield, IL passed away on Monday January 22, 2024.

Janet was born in Browns Valley, MN on December 7, 1940 and was the daughter of Walter and May Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susan Edwards; and three brothers.

Janet is survived by her son, William (Dallas) Edwards of Springfield; daughter, Debbie (Brian) Archer of Chatham; grandchildren, Miranda Frankell, Tim Stevens, Anastasia Bergner, John Archer, and Joshua Edwards; as well as 3 great grandchildren.

Janet worked and retired from the State of Illinois. She also enjoyed reading and gardening. Janet especially loved her family.

Cremation services are being accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield. Committal services will be held at a future date.
