Jana Lynn Clark, 57, of Dawson, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family and close friends. Jana was born on February 21, 1965, in Springfield, the daughter of James Ausmus and Joyce Franklin. She married Robert Clark Jr. on March 21, 1986 and he survives. She worked 20 years at UIC Specialized Care for Children as a claims specialist.

Jana was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed relaxing rides to bike rallies. She and Bobby owned a open wheel modified racecar for 17 years and loved going to races every weekend and spending time with her racing family. She loved working outside in her garden, planting flowers and relaxing in her pool.  Jana was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with her family and lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her father James Ausmus, and her father in law Robert Clark Sr.

Jana is survived by her husband, Bobby; children, Robert (Alicia) Clark III of Springfield, Dewayne Ausmus (Chenoa) of Dawson, and Courtney (Nicholas) Richards of Buffalo; mother, Joyce Franklin; 6 grandchildren, Rylee, Madison, Lilah, Lukas, Bentley and Benjamin; sisters, Diane Graham, Jaime (Dan) Porter, Jenell (Kevin) Smith, and Jill Ausmus as well as several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10:00AM- 12:00PM at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held at Fountain of Life United Methodist Church, 302 South St. in Buffalo, IL with Pastor Darrin Thurman officiating.
