SPRINGFIELD, IL - Jamie Lynn Corpstein, 40, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.

Jamie was born Feb. 5, 1975, in Springfield, the daughter of William and Pamela Hylton Brinkley Sr. She married Paul Corpstein on Sept. 19, 1998, at Washington Park in Springfield.

She worked for SPARC for many years and later as a dispatcher for Allied Heating and Plumbing. She was able to be a stay at home mom for the last two years. She was of the Catholic faith and loved being a mom.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Corpstein; daughter, Lily Mae Corpstein; mother, Pamela Brinkley of Auburn; grandmother, Phyllis Hylton of Springfield; siblings: William Jr. (Layla), David (Tabi) and Samuel, all of Auburn, and Stephanie (Heath) Sawyer of Riverton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Deacon Denny Baker officiating.

Visitation will follow until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
