James T. Fry, 64, of Springfield, IL passed away surrounded by his family and friends in his home on May 19, 2019.

Jim was born on January 18, 1955 the son of Thurman and Ethel-June (Clement) Fry, here in Springfield. On November 25, 1980 he would marry his wife Sallie (Stroh) Fry, and the two would go on to have a beautiful marriage together.

Jim loved music and was a fantastic drummer. He also enjoyed gardening, racing, the Seattle Seahawks, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Jennifer Fry.

Jim is survived by his wife; daughters Chelsea Fry (partner, Faith) and Dakota Fry of Springfield, IL; sisters, Marilyn Garland (Denny) and Anna Polistina (Ron); as well as many beloved family and friends.

He will be greatly missed.

Cremation will be accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702.
