James Kulawiak, 83, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022.  Born in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Ann Kulawiak; James served in the United States Army as a Light Weapons Infantryman & Honor Guard from 1955 to 1958 and is survived by his wife of 64 years, Loretta; brothers Larry (Diane) and Edward (Chris); sisters Alice Consalvo (Dan) and Linda Pawlicki (Tom), son Randall (Anne Hanch), daughter Jacqueline Roppo (Nicholas) and granddaughter Kimberly Roppo Vercio (Peter); many nieces and a nephew to whom he was a fond Uncle.

A burial service will be held on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 1:00pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
