Stout Bisby

MECHANICSBURG - Iva Myra Stout Bisby, 65, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013, at her residence.

Iva was born on January 30, 1948, in Mt. Auburn Township, the daughter of Dallas C. and Helen L. Howard Stout. She married John D. Bisby, Sr., February 1971 at Bissell Church.

Iva was a 1969 graduate of Tri-City High School. She worked for the State of Illinois Veterans Affairs, Brother James Court, as a CNA for Sparc, and later retired from Mary Lou's Country Abode in Buffalo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Fred, Jerry and Larry; two sisters, Leona and Helen; and one grandson, Michael.

She is survived by her husband, John; one daughter, Heather (Kirk) Patton of Springfield; two sons, John D. Bisby of Mechanicsburg, and Joshua (Kara Fleck) Bisby of Buffalo; three brothers, Dale Stout of Mo., Dallas "Jr" Stout of Pawnee, and Jimmy Stout of Pana; three sisters, Minnie Powers of Okla., and Martha Stout and Connie Harlan, both of Pana; six grandchildren; Shelby and Cory Patton, Sarah and Seth Bisby, Makayla Morrison and Jessica Bisby; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg with Vaughn Beeman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
