Isaac Joseph Weitekamp

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Isaac Joseph Weitekamp, 27, of Springfield, formerly of Rochester, Ill., passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, in Schuyler County.

He was born April 10, 1987, in Springfield, the son of Dennis Joseph and Charlene Hardwick Weitekamp.

Isaac worked for the Advanced Refrigeration Installers Inc. for over 10 years and was a Journeyman. Isaac was a member of the Church of St. Jude in Rochester and a proud member of the Local #137 Plumbers & Steam Fitters & Refrigeration Fitters in Springfield. He lived to hunt and fish and was an avid Cardinal's fan. You might find him in front of a chess board as he was an excellent player.

He is survived by his daughter, Lilly Mae Weitekamp of New Berlin; parents, Dennis and Charlene Weitekamp of Rochester; sister, Holly Ann Weitekamp (companion, Cory West) of Rochester; two brothers, Michael Lee Weitekamp (companion, Carol Deos) of Lanesville, and Ezekiel Charles Weitekamp (wife Chelsek) of Bolivia; grandmothers, Barbara Ann Weitekamp of Florida and Carolyn Anderson of Rochester; two nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at the Church of St. Jude in Rochester. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at the church with the Rev. R. Dean Probst officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
