MECHANICSBURG - Imogene Lee Morrison, 93, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

She was born June 22, 1920, in Roby, Ill., to Bill and Lola Yeaman. She married Vester P. Morrison in August 1945.

Imogene is survived by her granddaughters, Misty (Jason) Burris of Buffalo and Kristy Morrison of Springfield; great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Morrison of Buffalo, Bailey Burris of Buffalo, and Danielle Morrison of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester P. Morrison, in 1994; her son, Dannie L. Morrison in 2007; her parents; and her sister.

Visitation will be Monday, August 19, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg, IL.

Imogene will be laid to rest beside her husband in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

She was known as "Granny" to many of the children in the area and her kindness and love of the children will be greatly missed.
