Helen J. Moore, 99, of Buffalo, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her son's home. Helen was born on February 2, 1922, in Auburn, the daughter of Herbert and Anna (Raman) Schlicht. She married John Moore in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Helen was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Springfield and enjoyed making ceramics, collected Fiesta Ware, and was an excellent baker.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Raymond, Ronald and Buddy.

Helen is survived by her son, Johnie (Judy) Moore; daughter, Patty (Dennis) Little; grandchildren, John (Michelle) Moore, Jeanna (Brad) Brickey, Jennifer (Ryan) Davis, Angela (Paul) Provart and Mike (Amy) Little; great grandchildren, Autumn & Zoe Moore, Garrett & Ashlyn Brickey, Grant & Grace Davis, Miranda (Austin) Steven, Shay Little, and Evan, Ian & Dylan Provart, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 with Pastor Tom Krieger officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Illiopolis

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
