TAYLORVILLE, IL - Helen Ruth Lebshier, 83, of Taylorville, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Meadow Manor Nursing Home.

Helen was born May 20, 1932, in Highland Park, the daughter of Herbert Franklin and Rosetta Strohl Dort. She married Robert Lowell Lebshier; he preceded her in death in 1991.

Helen was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Edinburg. She loved country music, liked to read and bowl, and she taught aerobics.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Pranske; and brother, Robert Dort.

She is survived by one son, Robert (Jayme) Lebshier; one daughter, Bonita Woods; two brothers, Alfred Pranske of Springfield and Raymond Pranske of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Jeanne Benson of Chebanse; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be accorded by Springfield Crematory and burial will be in Edinburg Cemetery at a later date.
