Hazel Mae Tracey, 88, of Girard, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. John's Hospice.

Hazel was born on May 19, 1927 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of James and Hazel Bull Hughes.

She worked for the State of Illinois and retired from the Department of Public Aid.  She was homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Brian Tracey of Springfield, Gail Croxton of Olathe, KS, Kevin Tracey of Vancouver, WA, Judy (Greg) Capranica of Biloxi, MS and Wayne Tracey of Lakeside, CA; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating.
