Harold L. Kellams

ROCHESTER, IL - Harold L. Kellams, 75, of Rochester, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Harold was born July 8, 1939, in Knox County, Ind., the son of William and Mary Clark Kellams. He married Judith F. Lane on Oct. 21, 1967, in Decker, Ind.

Harold was a member of the Rochester United Methodist Church, Springfield Masonic Lodge, 32 Degree and Ansar Shrine. He worked as an over the road truck driver; he retired from ABS Truckline. Harold worked at Sam's Club after his retirement. He loved to fish and camp.

Harold was an avid Cardinal and NASCAR fan.

Harold is survived by his wife, Judith, of Rochester; son, Bradley (Lisa) Kellams of Mechanicsburg; daughters, Kandace K. Cheser of Louisville, Ky., and Shannon G. (Ron) Sonsoucie of Riverton; grandchildren: Ian, Kaylee, Danielle, Krystal, Tyler and Steven; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Kaleigh and Sophia; brothers: William (Nancy) Kellams, Ronnie (Becky) Kellams and Larry (Sandy) Kellams; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathy Sweet officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children or a charity of the donor's choice .
