Hallie J. Young, 78, of Edinburg, passed away on Friday February 2, 2018 at her home.

Hallie was born on January 24, 1940, in Tallula, the daughter of Robert and Mollie (Clark) Irwin.  She married David Young on August 28, 1958 and he survives.

Hallie loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; one brother; and an aunt and uncle.

She is survived by husband David, two daughters Tammy (Jack) Wolf and Kimmy (Jim) Giganti, one son; Jeff Young, 8 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 2 great great grandsons; Sisters Judy Pankey and Pam (Bob) Hoegreff.

At this time no services are planned.
