Grace M. Brawner 100, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Bridge Care Suites in Springfield, IL.

Grace was born on June 17, 1922 the daughter of George and Verna Weaver. She married James R. Funderburk in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1978. She then married Leo Bowsher in 1979 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Grace then married John M. Brawner in 1998 and he survives. Grace was a homemaker and enjoyed planting flowers and gardening.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, two brothers, Homer "Joe" and Harold Weaver; son, James "Big Jim" Funderburk and one grandson, Jimmy Funderburk.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. (husband Herb, deceased) Surratt; son, Gary L. Funderburk; daughter in law, Pat (husband James, deceased) Funderburk, and Jay (Mary) Brawner. Two grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Febraury 18, from 10AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00AM at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St. in Rochester. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Pawnee.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
