Gordon N. Coy, 64, of Springfield, pass away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his residence.

Gordon was born on February 19, 1953 in Taylorville the son of Willard Ray and Vallie E. Cole Coy.

He was a mechanic and worked in construction.  He was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers.

He was the loving father of Kasie Lynn Coy and Gordon Nyle Coy II; and grandfather of Brooke Coy; and the uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be accorded.  A celebration of life has been held.
