Gloria J Granderson, 65 formerly of Springfield IL., passed away at Prairie Creek Nursing Home in Decatur IL., on Tuesday January 19, 2021.

Gloria was born in Memphis Tennessee on January 31, 1955 the daughter of Louis L Granderson and Aggie Lue Mason.

Gloria loved to sing and dance, everyone knew her by her smile. Gloria enjoyed cooking and had a kind and giving heart.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Granderson and Aggie Mason, 3 sisters, Beulah B Garrett, Christine Mason, Helen J Mason-Oliver, 3 brothers, John L Mason, Frank L Mason, and Larry Granderson.

Gloria's memory will be cherished by son, John Stemmons Jr., daughter, Michelle Granderson-Sturdivant (husband Ben Sturdivant) all of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Romell, Micheal, Shantea, Chasity, Ariyanna, Keonna, and 3 great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Marquise, Mi'cole, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends.

Memorial and Cremation services will be held by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home.
