Gerald "Gerry" Greim of Williamsville passed away at Memorial Medical Center on Friday December 11, 2020.  Gerry was born in Moline, IL and graduated from Rock Island High School.  Gerry was also a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University.  After graduation he went to work for the Illinois Bureau of Investigation which later became the Department of Criminal Investigation of the Illinois State Police.  Gerry spent 30 years with the Illinois State Police before retiring at the end of 2001.  After retirement Gerry occupied his time by helping take care of several grandnephews and grandnieces, getting together with work friends and church activities at the Williamsville United Methodist Church

Gerry was preceded in death by both parents Edward Greim and Irene Greim, all three sisters Dr. Barbara Greim, Mrs. Delores Duffy, Mrs. Debra Martin.  Gerry was survived by his son Nicholas Martin (Katheryn), granddaughter Agatha, and many nieces' nephews' grandnieces and grandnephews.

Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 will be handling memorial services.  Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday December 18th 2020.

Funeral Services to be held at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, 5001 34th Ave. Moline, IL 61265 at 12 p.m. on Saturday December 19th.

The Funeral Home will be observing COVID-19 CDC and State guidelines.  Only a limited number of guests are permitted to enter the funeral home at a time, and all guests are required to wear facemasks when entering the funeral home.
