Franklin L. Moore Sr., 64, of Mt. Auburn, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.

Franklin was born August 24, 1953 in Springfield, the son of Robert and Edna Moore. He met his wife Sarah as a young man and they had a life together that lasted for over 44 years.

He was a truck driver and repaired lawnmowers. Franklin loved his dogs, mowing his yard, and playing games on his phone. His dogs were like second children to him, most of all, Franklin loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother in infancy; and a brother, Bobby.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Sarah; children, David Freligh, Lawana (Lyle) Anderson, Larry Freligh, Christian Moore, and Franklin Moore Jr.; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Illiopolis with Reverend Chuck Ferris officiating. Cremation will follow services.
