Frank J. LoCascio, 90, of Springfield passed away June 2, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born September 13, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the son of Carmelo and Fortunata LoCascio. He married Adeline Marek who preceded him in death in 2004.

Frank was an Optometrist, a member of the Church of St. Jude in Rochester and also a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by a daughter, Catherine (Jack) Carlson of Rochester; two sons, Dr. Robert G. (Patricia) LoCascio of Hoffman Estates, IL and William F. (Diana) LoCascio of Troy, AL, 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Marcy) of Arlington Heights, IL, two sisters, Francis Albrecht of Bloomingdale, IL and Maria (Jerome) Urban of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Church of St. Jude in Rochester with Father R. Dean Probst officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
