Fran was born to Harold & Audrey (Parr) Blemler April 29, 1936 in Galesburg, IL. The family resided in Vermont, IL until Fran was 13 when they moved to Pleasant Plains and then Springfield.

Fran worked as a farm wife and finished her working years at Springfield banks. Fran is survived by her four children, Beth (Al) Vala of Petersburg, Kathi (Steve) Sledge of Sherman, David (Patti) Walbaum of Pleasant Plains, and Sally Samara of Taylorville along with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Fran's lifelong best friend, Suzanne Schoneweis of Petersburg also survives her passing.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cheryl Ann, along with special Aunt & Uncle, Norma Lee & John Ferguson and cousin, Tom Blemler. Interment of ashes will be at the family plot in the Vermont, Illinois cemetery. Donations in memory of Fran may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road, Springfield IL 62702 or the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Services will be private.
