Evelyn Warren Theobald, 96, of Sherman, formerly of Buffalo, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Villa Healthcare.
She was born on March 6, 1920 in Mechanicsburg the daughter of Thomas and Opal Lane. She married Lynn S. Warren in 1938, later married Roy E. Turner and then Paul Theobald; all preceded her in death.
Evelyn worked at Tri-City High School, Horace Mann Educators and the 7-Up Bottling Company.
She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Marie Lane, Mildred Grubb and Virgil Lane.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Jo (Charles) Wilder of Lexington; a son, James Lynn (Karla) Warren of Williamsville; five step-children, Thomas (Lynn) Theobald, Dale (Linda) Theobald, Linda (Paul) Smith, Martha McLain and Mary Ann Garrett; sister, Vera L. Simpson of Sherman; four granddaughters; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Buffalo Hart Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Constant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tri-City Food Pantry located at the Mechanicsburg Christian Church, 305 S. Church St., Mechanicsburg, IL 62545.
