Eugenie Faihun, 57, of Cotonou, Benin, West Africa, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at St. John's Hospital.

Eugenie was born on October 1, 1961 in Cotonou, Benin, West Africa the daughter of Victor Faihun and Damienne Dehoumon Paul.  She married Casimir Djossou.

She is survived by her husband, Casimir Djossou; children, Carmelle Senami, Tatiana, Moreat, Ardilles, Mireille and Vianney; siblings, Julie, Gaston, Jean Pierre, Vicentia, Clements, Hypolith and Eusebe; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Reverend Robert J. Jallas officiating. Burial will be in Djegan-Daho, Porto-Novo, Benin, West Africa on April 13, 2019.
