Elizabeth L. White, 87, of Springfield, IL passed away on January 13, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.

Beth was born in Gloversville, NY on January 8, 1934 the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Cornell) Earl.

On April 16, 1955, she married Melvin White of Effingham, IL.

She enjoyed gardening and reading. Beth served Jesus Christ by ministering through Cadence International and to her church families in both Altamont and Springfield, IL.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Fred C. Earl of Poland, NY.

She is survived by her children, Sue (Allen) Alexander of Springfield and David (Ronda) White of Springfield; and her grandchildren, James, Jakob, Sam, and Lainey.

Funeral services will be held at Southern View Chapel, 4500 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL 62703 on Saturday January 23, 2021. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Gilley officiating.

Beth will be laid to rest at Camp Butler National Cemetery with a family ceremony at a later date.
