Elizabeth Ann Redding, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at her residence.

Elizabeth was born August 27, 1941 in Springfield the daughter of Theodore R and Emma (Berry) Matthew.  She married Ronald Lee Redding Sr. on March 26, 1960 in Springfield; he survives.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and enjoyed refinishing furniture and Antiquing.  She was a mother to all the neighborhood kids, loved to cook and she made amazing pies.  She enjoyed fishing and long Sunday drives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings. Charles Matthew, Helen Noyes, Karen McMasters and Patricia Thomas

She raised four children, Rhonda (George) Oldridge, Ronald (Jeanette) Redding Jr., Thomas Redding and Kim Redding; she also raised one grandson, Jeremiah Redding; she is also survived by two siblings, Robert Matthew and Barbara Magowan; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
