Edward Ervin Turley

KINCAID, IL - Edward Ervin Turley, 52, of Kincaid, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center.

Edward was born Aug. 19, 1962, in Springfield, the son of Kenneth Dean and Marian Staples Turley. He married Wanda Steil.

He retired from the State of Illinois where he worked for the Environmental Protection Agency in vehicle emissions. He was a member of Rochester Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kimberly Johnson; and one brother, Kenneth Turley Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Turley; one son, James Edward (Beth) Turley; two daughters, Johanna (Jesse) Shonkwiler and Makenzie Turley; two sisters, Becky (Earl) Maston and Sue McManus; three grandchildren: Huck William Turley, Joseph Zackary Johnson Turley and Elizabeth Aubrey Johnson Turley; step-grandson, Evan Zander Shonkwiler; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Rochester Christian Church with Pastor Brad Ferris officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
