Edward David, 69, of Springfield, IL passed away on Sunday November 27, 2022 at his home in the company of his family. Edward was born in Butte, Montana on December 14, 1952 and was the son of Edward E. David and Helen I. Dahl.

He is survived by his wife Toni A. David of Springfield; son, Chris David (wife, Brenda) of Springfield; daughters, Heather Williams of Kentucky, Shelley Chitwwood (husband, Anthony) of Taylorville; and Brandi Litherland of Loami; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers and sisters.

He was a big teddy bear and would do anything for anyone. Edward gave all of his time and love to everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Cremation services are being accorded and no services are being held at this time.
