Dorothy J. Thurman, 88, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Regency Care in Springfield. Dorothy was born on July 29, 1932, in Springfield, the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Louise (Stevenson) Stephens. She married Maurice Thurman in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Thurman and one sister, Helen Raps.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Susan (Sonja Glad) Thurman and Kim Link, both of Rochester; one grandson, Dylan (Dakota) Link and one great granddaughter Rylee Sue Link.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 10:00AM until the time of the Funeral at 11:30AM, at Ruth Primm Memorial Chapel in Rochester Cemetery with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating.

Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St, in Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
