Dorothy Louise (Snyder) De Von passed away on January 1, 2022 at Lewis Memorial Christian Home. She was born in Farmersville, IL on April 10, 1934 the daughter of William and Irene (Hazelwood) Snyder. She was married to Robert James De Von on May 9, 1996 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2013.

She retired from the IL Department of Agriculture.

She is survived by one brother, John Snyder, Taylorville and two sisters, Sarah Karrick, Riverton and Martha (David) Karrick, Riverton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at 11:00am. Pastor Nick Sutton will be officiating and anyone wishing to attend will need pull in behind the funeral coach and line up on Monument Drive at approx 10:45am . In lieu of flowers memorial denotations may be made to a Senior Citizens Charity or the Animal Protective League.
