SPRINGFIELD - Dorothy Patricia "Pat" Endres, 78, died on Friday, August 21, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center.

Pat was born on April 4, 1937, in Springfield, the daughter of William L. and Alma E. Vogelsang Reynolds. She married Joseph W. "Sonny" Endres on November 10, 1956; they later divorced.

She retired from the State of Illinois in 2001.

Survivors include Cynthia A. (Mark, deceased) Moore and their children, Jeremiah C. and Holly M. Moore; William J. Endres and his daughter, Beth Ann Endres of California; Patricia K. Connolly and her children, Ricky A., Jr., and Ryan P. Connolly; Shelly M. (Jay, deceased) Kennedy, and their children, Paul J. IV, Kallie M. and Fallon E. Kennedy; Matthew D. Endres; Phillip J. Endres and his daughter, Karmen A. Vicari-Endres; and Mark A. Endres, all of Springfield; four great- grandchildren, Wyatt R., Summer M., Elias A. (Eli) and Will Karter; sister, Helen D. Cox of Hillsboro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Joyce Crawford; and special brother-in-law, Robert E. Rockford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William J., Marvin A. and Paul R. Reynolds; two sisters, Alma M. Combs, Barbara A. Rockford; and former husband.

Per her request private family services were held. Cremation was accorded by Springfield Crematory.
