Dorothy M. Childers, 83, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at The Mosaic of Springfield.

Dorothy was born on March 27, 1933 in Corbin, KY the daughter of Malcolm and Roberta Henderson.

Dorothy retired from the Business Office at Memorial Medical Center after many years.  She enjoyed listening to music.

She is survived by daughter, Terri Lassley; son, John Childers; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Elllinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home.
