SPRINGFIELD, IL - Dorothy V. Budds, 82, of Springfield, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Vibra Hospital.

Dorothy was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Springfield, the daughter of Otto and Grace Arnold Hubbs Sr.

She was a waitress for Ricardo's and Vic's and a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Scott and Christy Budds; and five siblings: Jack Arnold, Robert Hubbs, Lola Pervis, Maxine Straton and Charles Hubbs.

She is survived by three sons: Edward (Diana) Budds and Michael Budds, both of Springfield, and Robert (Susan) Budds of Brooksville, Fla.; two brothers, Paul and Otto Hubbs, both of Springfield; five grandchildren: Jeremy and Jonathan Budds, Jennifer Simic, and Dawn and Donnie Stark; one great-grandson, Daryn Stark; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
