Dorothy Nadine Brown, 77, of Hudson, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Dorothy was born on May 10, 1940 in Wilton, IA the daughter of Edgar and Helen Schwien Meyer. She married Darrell Richard Brown; he preceded her in death September 8, 2016

She is survived by five children, Jeannie (Mike) Sentner of Hudson, FL, Steven (Lori) Brown of Wilton, IA, Scott (Natalie) Brown of Springhill, FL, Janie (Todd) Strang of Chiefland, FL; and Wayne (Jane) Brown of Springhill, FL; one brother, Harold Meyer of Wilton, IA; one sister, Sandy Gucciardi of New Port Richey, FL; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation will be accorded.  Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
