Donna M. Padget, 83, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg.

She was born on December 27, 1933 in Little Indian, IL the daughter of Guy and Freda Moss Mallicoat. Donna married Donald Larue Padget on August 30, 1952. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2012.

Donna attended Douglas United Methodist Church. She enjoyed family, babysitting, baking, cooking, and sewing.

She is survived by a Daughter, Dorene (Edwin) Kileen of Athens; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Padget; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

Donna was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Kent Padget in 2015; a brother, Thomas Mallicoat; and a sister, Doris Mallicoat.

Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home. Rev. Julia Melgreen will be officiating. Graveside service to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia, IL.
