Donna Jean Lyon, 87, of Illiopolis, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Heritage Health in Springfield.

Donna was born on October 21, 1930 in Mechanicsburg, the daughter of Donald and Trudy Noel Wilson. She married William H. "Bill" Lyon; he preceded her in death in 1966.

Donna enjoyed working in the garden, as well as finding time for arts and crafts.  However, her passion was spending time with her family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Marsha) Lyon, Tyler (Sandy) Lyon, and Tia (Jerry) Lyon; grandchildren, Clay, Casey, Lindsay, Jordon, Justin, Kylie, Skylar, and Michelle; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward Wilson.

Private family services will be held.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Illiopolis with Deacon Rob Johnson officiating.
