Donna M. Flener, 75, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her home.

She was born October 16, 1941 in Virden, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Gladys McKenny Steele. On June 19, 1957 she married Ernest Flener. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2001.

She loved caring for and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Roy (Shelley) Flener and Ernest (Angie) Flener; two daughters, Betty Ealey (Companion, Don Callaway) and Rita (Bob) Schuur; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Rochester, IL. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Saturday, November 5 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Rochester Cemetery.
