Donna Jean Cunningham passed away on March 26, 2024 at 10:00AM Taylorville Care Center. She was born in Taylorville on May 15, 1938, the daughter of Finis and Merrill (Pickett) Cunningham. Donna was a 1956 graduate of Edinburg High School. She worked at Green Gables Restaurant for 18 years and then managed the Blue Classic Hotel before retiring. She lived her life to raise her daughters and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son in law, Greg Thomas.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise (Cole) and her husband, John Ruby; Kris (Cole) and her husband, Rick Ballion; grandchildren, Tony Thomas, Brent (Christine) Thomas, Nikki (Thomas) and her husband, John Ruot, and Loren Ballion; great grandchildren Cash, Brody, Kobe, Lily, Daisy and Harper Thomas, and Bella and Jack Ruot; two brothers, Mike and Greg Cunningham and nephew Steve Cunningham.

A visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of the memorial service at 12:00PM at House on the Rock Church in Edinburg, IL. on April 11, 2024.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to House on the Rock Church, 314 North Grant St. Edinburg, IL. 62531.
