Don "Ducky" Dorworth of Springfield, Illinois passed away December 13th, 2024 at Memorial Hospital. He was 73.

He was born on February 18th, 1951 to Albert and Helen Fortner Dorworth. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty "B.J." Dorworth; son, Zachary Thomas Dorworth (wife, Alia); daughter, Jodie Lee Suter; granddaughter, Morgan Suter; and sister Sue McClure.

Don served time in the Navy and drove a truck for 33 years. This was a profession he knew he wanted to do since he we was 12 years old.

He was an avid bowler (having bowled a 300 game) and he loved watching Illinois Basketball, NASCAR Racing and watching the Packers football games. He also loved playing computer games.

He was also an expert at corny jokes. He was a big jokester.

Cremation services are being accorded.

A visitation will held at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 on Sunday December 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm.
