Diedre S. Cawley, 64, of Sherman, formerly of Rochester, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Diedre was born on August 15, 1957, in Springfield, the daughter of Don and Virginia (Herrin) Bowers. She married Mike Cawley on October 22, 1983, and he survives. Diedre was a member of Westside Christian Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing, singing and vacationing near the beach. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, and brother Steve Bowers. She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter Lindsay (Nicholas) McCloughan; son, Matt (Sabrina) Cawley; 8 grandchildren; parents, Don and Virginia Bowers, brothers, Mike (Esther) Bowers, Daniel (Donna) Bowers, and Rick (Arta) Bowers; sister-in-law, Kathy Bowers aunts, Phyllis Orris and Linda Koontz; uncle, Larry (Dotty) Bowers and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St, in Rochester, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 9:30 until the time of the memorial service at 10:30 with Reverend Cindy Lash officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
