Dennis H. Stuckey, 74, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born in Effingham, IL. on December 13, 1946, the son of Arthur and Virginia (Eyestone) Stuckey. He married Gloria Donaldson on August 5, 1972.

Dennis was a member of Rochester Christian Church for over 40 years, served as an Elder, and was a member of the Rochester Historical Preservation Society. He also worked for DCFS for 39 years and was instrumental in starting the Child Abuse Hotline. He enjoyed gardening, ancestry & genealogy, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events and activities.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, Children; Brent (Krista) Stuckey, their children Brayden & Addyson; Tim (Sara) Stuckey and their children Noah, Nate, Sam & Seth; Kimberly (Charlie) Kerwin, their children Kylie, Wil, Allie, Leah & Hailey; and Sarah (Bobby) Gremo, their children Maverick & Mcallister, two brothers; David (Sharon) and Don (Judy) Stuckey and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rochester Christian Church.

Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 East Main St. in Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
