Delores (Spengler) Hobbs, 84, of Edinburg, Illinois died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 13th 2023.

Delores was born in New City, IL on August 28th,1939 to Thomas and Grace (Lederbrand) Spengler. She attended Rochester schools and later married Sam Hobbs. She was a mother, farmer, gardener, lawyer's secretary, cardplayer, friend, and more.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, her daughter-in-law Vallerie, her sister Jean Roese and brother Henry Spengler. She is survived by her brother Jim Spengler and his wife Mary, sisters Carolyn Lagemann, Donna Hibbitts, son Francis "Dink" Hobbs and his partner Marie Wilson, her grandchildren Samantha Hobbs Redinger, Mitch Hobbs, and Annie Hobbs, and her great grandchildren Cameron Samuel Redinger, Sophie Delores Redinger, and Charlotte Hobbs.

The Visitation will be held at South Fork Church of Christ on Tuesday, December 19th from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM Reverend David Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Edinburg Cemetery.
