Delores Dudas passed away on the morning of Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home. Delores was bor non May 6, 1939, to parents Omar and Viola (Halford) Walch, both deceased, in Raymond, IL, She graduated with the class of 1957.

She leaves one brother, Richard his wife, Beverly, of Springfield, nephews, Kevin Walch and Chris Heather of Springfield, and one niece, Tammy Bourmatnov of California. She is predeceased by her husband, Dale Dudas, passing away on Friday December 27, 2019, and brother, Don Walch and his wife Mary. Dee was the oldest of many cousins.

Delores married Dale L. Dudas of Staunton, IL on February 14, 1960. They have two sons, Dayton and wife Sue of TN, and Devin and wife Laurie of Springfield. They have nine grandchildren, Destine (Steve) Asselin of FL, Dawn Dudas of Bloomington, IL., Nick McKinney (Jessie) of TN, Mailynne (Christian) Calvin of TN, Krystal Dudas of TN, Michael and Ericka Dudas of Pleasant Plains, IL, David Dudas, Heather Dudas, Timothy and Crystal Dudas, all of Springfield; 11 great grandchildren, Brayden Robertson of Bloomington, Aiden and Addison McKinney, Presley, Chrislynne, Sloan, and Skye Calvin of TN, Erin, Brynne, and Avery Asselin of FL, and Benjamin Dudas of Springfield, IL

Delores retired from Formosa Plastics in August 2003, where she worked for Borden Chemical & PLastica as EPA/ OSHA Clerk for 25 years. She was a member of the Fireman's Auxiliary for 22 years. She was involved in many areas of the Illiopolis United Methodist Church, having been very active in the United Methodist Women, being a Sunday School Teacher for many years and Church Treasurer for over 10 years. She also published a newsletter for the church. Delores was a member of the Illio Gals and the Kitchen Band of Illiopolis. Dee loved collecting dolls and glass dishes. She also loved to crochet and did many items for the church.

Dee will be missed by her family, friends and the community.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Illiopolis United Methodist Church at 2:00PM.

Private graveside services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery at later date.
