Deborah Sue (Greene) Batres, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Heritage Health.

Deborah was born on November 12, 1949 in Springfield the daughter of John and Vivian (Sunman) Greene.

She was a graduate of Springfield High School and was a property manager for Essex Corp in CA.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Vivian Greene and her sister Rebecca (Greene) Whitehead.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Jesse) Guerrero of Niantic; and a son, Jim (Nicki) Graham of Monticello; grandchildren, Jessica (Drew) Whightsil, Arianna Guerrero, Gabriela Guerrero, Nathan Graham, Devin Graham and Hayden Graham; great-granddaughter, Emma Whightsil; father, John Greene of Virginia; sisters, Margaret "Pegi" McCurdy and Cindy (Rick) Bly both of Springfield; brother, John Greene of Virginia; two nephews; and one niece.

Cremation will be accorded.  Private services will be at a later date.
