Dawn Renè Taielua, 53, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017.

Dawn was born on December 28, 1963, in Springfield the daughter of Clarence and Adeline Crammond Spencer.

She worked independently for Lincoln Cab for 10 years.  She was often referred to as "Mama Dawn". She loved her children and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Daniel Spencer; and one sister, Darla Spencer.

She is survived by one son, Jesse (Tesla) Taielua of Springfield and one daughter; Heather (Nick) Morris of Springfield; three grandchildren, AnnaBelle, Gabriel and Aliza; sister, Diana (Kevin) Hughes; brother, David (Vickie) Spencer of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life from 1-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Lake Press Club.
