Dawn D. Dukes-Browning, 63, of Riverton, Illinois, passed away on February 13, 2026.

Dawn was born on April 11, 1962, in Springfield, Illinois, to Fredie and Rozann (Howlett) Dukes. She had a true love for life and was known for her wit, stubborn streak, and generous heart. Above all, Dawn cherished her family.

Dawn loved discussing theology and was always down for live music events. She enjoyed shopping, playing sudoku, and spending time with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Browning; her parents; and her brother, Brian Dukes.

Dawn is survived by her daughters, Hannah Yates (Michael) of Rochester, Illinois, and Harmony Browning of Riverton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Iyrah Yates and Violet Yates; her brothers, Dirk Dukes of Riverton, Illinois, and Shawn Dukes of Springfield, Illinois; along with many other beloved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Rochester, Illinois. A memorial service will be held during that time.
