David L. Roberts Sr., 61, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence.

David was born on August 12, 1955 in Springfield the son of Tom and Janet Buracker Roberts.

David drove for Roberts Trucking for over 25 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by four children, David Roberts Jr. of Ashland, Dillon Roberts of Tallula, Emily Roberts of Ashland and Bradley Roberts of Springfield; parents, Tom and Janet Roberts of Monroe City, MO; one brother, Wayne (Jeanie) Roberts of Ashland; and three grandchildren, Isabella, Bryson, and Thylen.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Masten officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
