David Lee Goodall, 73, of Springfield IL, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2019 at his residence while surrounded by his family.

David was born in Springfield IL, on November 6, 1945 the son of William and June (Woolary) Goodall.

As a young man David joined the United States Navy and was very proud of his military career.

Later, he would go on to work at the Springfield Airport for decades fixing planes. He was a man of many talents and loved bird watching and constructing model wooden ships in his later years.

David was a truly kind and generous individual.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Faye Grigsby.

David is survived by his daughter, Becky and Gina Goodall; brothers, Clifford and Bill Goodall; a sister, Berta Miller; and many beloved friends.

Cremation services are being accorded by Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home.
